What is your advice about? Being Honest

Tell students why they’re doing something. For example, ‘To understand how to write interesting metaphors SO WE CAN make Sir’s marking experience less excruciating.’

If a colleague asks you to ‘do them a ‘favour’, and you think that doing it will be to the detriment of the students you teach, tell them, “No.”

Kids aren’t stupid. Don’t tell them you love dub step and you-tubing  because a) you don’t and b) you don’t.

If a student is wrong, tell them. Sometimes, people are just wrong; students are people.

Be honest with yourself. Do you REALLY think that Bloom’s Taxonomy bean bag throwing games add anything valuable to your lessons?
