What is your advice about? Left-handed students

If sitting in pairs side by side, place the left-handed student on the left, so that elbows don’t lock.

Take paper out of ring binders for easier access. Likewise spiral notebooks.

Their handwriting may be poor as they immediately cover up what they are writing. This often encourages “claw hand” for writing.

Ink is a nightmare, as it smudges. Berol Handwriting pens are best, as they have a very quick drying ink.

Left-handed scissors are really hard to use, even for lefties. Don’t offer them unless specifically requested.
