What is your advice about? Teaching Physics

If you are not the only physicist at your school, learn what you can from the other physics teachers – especially get them to show you practicals.

Join twitter and follow physics teachers – they will be very helpful, mostly. 🙂 Take part in #asechat on Mondays at 8pm.

Join subject specific discussions on talkphysics.org and via the PTNC email list. No question is too daft – physicists generally love all physics discussion.

Book mark the IOP teaching advanced physics page ( tap.iop.org) and practical physics ( http://www.nuffieldfoundation.org/practical-physics). A level teaching lifelines.

Enjoy trying to show all teenagers the joy that is understanding physics. Smile and enthuse, you are doing a lovely thing!
